Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested In Alabama
A drifter who has lived between Cedartown and Chatsworth in recent months has been arrested in Calhoun County in connection with the armed robbery at the Smart Mart on US 27 south in Cedartown Tuesday.
29 year old William D. Graham is alleged to have threatened a clerk with a knife before fleeing in with a little more than $300 Tuesday morning.
It is not clear why he was stopped in Alabama, but is now being detained pending extradition to Georgia.
Officers used a surveillance video taken from the store to identify the suspect.
