Child Killed in Accident at Pepperell-Cedartown Game

A 9-year old Floyd County boy died Friday Night after being struck by a truck after the Cedartown-Pepperell Game at Cedartown.
According to sources, the boy, now identified as 9 year old Skyler Ashley, was struck across from the cemetery near Cedartown High while leaving the stadium by a Ford F-150 Truck. Emergency crews arrived a short time later to find that the boy had no pulse, and began CPR. Emory Life-Flight was also dispatched from Cartersville and arrived on the scene around 30 minutes after the accident.
While sources indicate that a pulse was detected several times during CPR, it was lost and the child was pronounced dead.
